Jason Pyeron for City Council

Baltimore is in cardiac arrest and critically needs to be revived. The status quo has lost its viability, therefore, now is the time for a new approach to Baltimore’s revival. My name is Jason Pyeron and I am running for City Council. As your Councilman, my objective will be, not only to see Baltimore survive, but to see her thrive!

My aim is to bring about a Better and Livable Baltimore by drawing in more jobs and lowering the cost of living. In doing so, our economy will be strengthened, affording us greater housing opportunities for all. Equally as important, I will hold the city accountable to do their part in reviving Baltimore. Additionally, you can fully count on me to work each and every day on rebuilding the respect and trust between our neighbors, local businesses, the police and our local government as well.

New ideas for a Livable Baltimore

Employment - My aim is to bring in many new, permanent and sustainable jobs with on-the-job training. These jobs will improve our infrastructure, increase housing opportunities and strengthen our community.

Homeownership – We must respect our families by raising the standards and values by which they live. Every family should be able to own a good home. My goal is, for those who have a job to find purchasing a home much more attainable.

Community – I will expend great energy into rebuilding respect and trust between our neighbors, businesses, police and local government. I will demand transparency and accountability as there is an express correlation between community strength and community trust.

The Future - The youth of our neighborhoods are an intrinsic part of our district, so it is imperative that we as a community, invest in their success. Education and technology are fundamental rights for these young people; therefore, it is my resolve to make resources available to both the youth and businesses to work together in achieving the scope for which I strive. Our future generation’s success is our success as it will bring about a more desirable and #BetterBaltimore.
